(1) Bring your failure to God honestly
“Pour out your hearts before him.” — Psalm 62:8
Do not hide it like Adam did. Healing begins with honesty.
(2) Repent, don’t remain stuck in shame
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us.” — 1 John 1:9
Repentance is movement forward; shame is stagnation.
(3) Learn from it
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
Ask: What is this failure teaching me about pride, patience, discipline, or dependence on God?
(4) Get up again
“Though he falls, he will not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.” — Psalm 37:24
Righteousness is not the absence of falling—it is the willingness to rise again.
