Crossroads of life ! Jeremiah 6 : 16

Posted by Pastor Anish K. S (ICPF Manipal)

God will never leave his people and his character of disciplining us is not an act of

denial. When he disciplines his people he provides a way for their survival. " This is

what the Lord says: " Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way,

and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls."

This promise of God has been placed in the middle of a judgement over Israel for their

sins. Though he is going to send them into captivity as part of his disciplinary action yet

he is not leaving them completely. And he gives them this word of promise to trust as

they reach at the crossroads of their life.

What a loving God we have! This is such an assurance to know that he will not leave us

ever. He will provide the right signal at the crossroads of our life when we look unto him for his guidance.
