The basic law of the Temple!
God says, (V.12) " And this is the basic law of the Temple: absolute holiness! The entire top of the mountain where the Temple is built is holy.Yes,this is the basic law of the Temple".
God showed the temple plan to prophet Ezekiel and asked him to describe this to people so that they might know their sins,repent and return to God.
God's temple where God dwells should be holy,God already promised His spirit to enable what He demands.In NT, God said, we are the temple of God said, we are the temple of God,the spirit of God dwells in us,so this is a reminder to all to examine, are we able to meet the basic law of the temple? "i.e holiness".
