Ezekiel 2 : 1 - 10 At least they will know they have had a Prophet among them.
This statement is powerful; why ? because God came on His Portable Thorne Chariot to His exile, Ezekiel has seen that glorious nearness of God, whereas Israelites were not because of their stubbornness, so God is telling, let them at least know this very fact that a prophet has been among them, just to show that they didn't give ear to him, because prophets are the spokesmen of God.
God's call : He calls and qualifies, empowers and enables, Acts 1 : 8 ; Gen. 1 : 2. The mission of the spirit is to prepare us for God's service.
The messa e is : words of lament, mournin:, and woe. Its not messenger decide the message, the giver of message decides, Jesus said I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
The audience and their characteristics : they are rebellious, obstinate, and stubborn.
