What matters the most in our life? Haggai 2 : 1 - 5

The post-exilic community came back to their own land and built their temple. However, they felt as if it is less worth compared to the former temple.

God who knows the heart understood their pain and addressed them. God reaffirmed His presence; " I am with you ". God reaffirmed His covenant; " my Spirit remains among you ". And God reminded their responsibility; "fear not, work ".

This is an encouragement to all. When we do something He knows the exact feelings of ours. He will come to us and reassure His promise and presence that matters the most in our life.
